Welcome to Season 14 | from BPA Co-Founder and Artistic Advisor Julia Pautz
Solar eclipses are special events, glimpses into the cosmos that allow us to see beyond our usual perspectives and past the constraints of time and space. In honor of the April 2024 complete solar eclipse visible in Blanco we have named our fourteenth season Sun Shadow. We invite you to join us for our special events including our Uptown Blanco Courtyard season finale concert on the weekend of the summer solstice to experience how our concerts can also expand your perspective, show you new ways to see time and space, and see the light and its inverse in music.

We invite you to join us in our newest endeavor, the Inner Circle. This group offers expanded opportunities to support the mission of bringing great music to Blanco County, and enhanced artist interactions for our donors in the form of reserved VIP seating, invitations to special events and even reserved parking.
Sing Me a Song with Artonic Quartet
At Blanco Performing Arts we love to introduce our audience to world class artists, and introduce talented and renowned musicians to Blanco. Blanco native Julia Pautz returns on Sunday May 5 with her Artonic Quartet - violinist Jing Yan Bowcott, violist Hanah Stuart, and special guest cellist Nick Finch - and soprano Tasha Koontz in a program highlighting the American storytelling through song. Pop songs, folk songs, and contemporary classical songs join together for an unforgettable lineup.
It seemed as if the group were in our own home giving us our own special treat.
We were given a stop in time, one of those rare occasions in life when most of the audience were spell bound by the performance."
